The Public Prosecution charged them with money laundering and sending large sums of money to DAESH. The suspects had denied the accusations, insisting that they collected the money from Syrian residents in order to transfer it to their relatives in Syria. They affirmed that they benefit from the transfer of money if it is sent as American dollars.

However, investigations revealed otherwise. In this regard, the in-charge officer affirmed that the collected money was sent to DAESH.
