Deportation for Syrian woman predicting future; Ethiopian maid magic

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 11: An unidentified Syrian woman has been referred to the Criminal Investigations Department for claiming to predict the future, reports Al-Anba daily. The arrest came after police received information from some pedestrians near the Al-Ta’awon Street that the woman was attempting to stop the motorists in Salwa and predicting the future. When a police patrol confronted her, she said she receives messages from God and claimed to know what is in store for 2017. The Syrian woman has been referred to concerned authorities for deportation.

Maid’s magic: A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with Abdullah Al-Mubarak Police Station accusing her Ethiopian maid of harming her 30-year-old daughter through black magic and sorcery, reports Al-Anba daily. The complainant said she discovered the incident after one of her relatives asked her to observe the behavior of her maid. The woman then checked her daughter’s bedroom and found a talisman and also found one of her daughter’s old underwear in the maid’s room. The investigations are underway to know why she was doing black magic for the girl.
