KUWAIT CITY, Dec 7 : The Commercial Court of First Instance ordered an airline to pay KD 4,000 to a Kuwaiti diver in compensation for the traumatic experience of losing his luggage containing many diving materials at Manila Airport.

Representing the citizen, Plaintiff Lawyer Zaid Al-Khabbaz said his client boarded a flight of the airline in question to Manila and lost his luggage on arrival, which prompted him to file a case to seek compensation for material and psychological losses.

The lawyer presented a copy of the air ticket, boarding pass and other relevant documents, including the loss of luggage form he filled in Manila, and demanded KD 5,001 in temporary compensation for the plaintiff.
