Costly prank on pedestrian – Kuwaiti Citizen hits Bangladeshi Expat with his vehicle

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 30: A Bangladeshi expatriate sustained serious injuries especially in his legs when a Kuwaiti citizen hit him with his vehicle in Shaab area. According to security sources, the suspect was driving in Shaab area with his friend when he noticed an Asian expatriate standing on the road pavement and using his mobile phone.

In order to play a prank on the pedestrian to frighten him, the suspect drove over the pavement towards the expatriate, expecting the expatriate to move from the path.

However, the latter did not move and was hit by the vehicle. Securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location after receiving information about the accident from a passerby.

Paramedics referred the victim to the nearest hospital for treatment while securitymen arrested the Kuwaiti driver and referred him to the police station. A case was registered
