CDC, Kuwait trade views

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in the United States of America met with a number of officials from the Kuwait Ministry of Health ‘virtually’ to discuss and exchange experiences related to combating the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the challenges they are facing in this regard, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

The US embassy said in a statement holding this meeting comes within the framework of continuous cooperation between the United States and Kuwait in the field of health.

The two sides hope that this meeting will lead to an increase in the exchange of research and experts between the two countries to develop the field of public health. The health sources said the meeting was coordinated by the United States Embassy in Kuwait, the advisor to the Minister of Health, Dr Salman Al-Sabah and Dr Qais Al-Baghli.
