Cash, vital docus gone as expat’s flat ransacked

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 4: An unknown man broke into the apartment of a Jordanian expatriate in Salmiya area and stole documents belonging to citizens and expatriates, along with KD 350 cash, as per the report filed by the victim at the Maidan Hawally Police Station, reports Al-Rai daily. The victim explained to securitymen that he is a company representative of an insurance company and is responsible for visiting the clients of the company and collecting insurance fees and their details. He was shocked to see the mess in his apartment upon his return even though he stays alone and did not see any broken doors. When he checked his belongings, he discovered that KD 350 which he had received from customers and was supposed to handover to the company was missing along with some documents. A case was filed for investigations.

3 hurt in brawl: Three juveniles sustained severe injuries during a bloody quarrel that broke out among six Kuwaiti juveniles, reports Al-Rai daily. When the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information about the quarrel at a building in Fintas area, securitymen were immediately dispatched to the location. They discovered that the quarrel was among six juveniles of Kuwaiti nationality. The three injured quarrelers were provided first aid after which they were referred to Adan Hospital for treatment. The rest of them were arrested and referred to the concerned authorities for investigations. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti youth was stabbed in his right thigh during a quarrel with two others near a branch of the cooperative society in Sulaibikhat area on Thursday.
