KUWAIT CITY, March 18: Burgan Bank has sponsored the sixth competition of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation (KEF) Tour for the 2022-2023 showjumping season, which was held at the Kuwait Riding Center (KRC) venue.

The sponsorship comes in line with the Bank’s continued efforts to support and promote Kuwait’s sports sector, a vital element of the Bank’s comprehensive social responsibility program. On the first day of the league’s sixth competition, equestrian Abdullah Al- Roudan was able to take first place, followed by the equestrians Abdullah Al Awadhi and Antonio Murruzzu in second and third places, respectively.

On the second day, equestrian Bjorn Kuwertz won first place, followed by Annaz Al Annazin second and Antonio Murruzzuin third. Speaking about the Bank’s sponsorship of the tour, Ms. Hessa Hussain Al-Najadah, Senior Manager–Corporate & CSR Communications at Burgan Bank, said: “I would like to congratulate all the winners of the sixth competition of the Kuwait Equestrian Federation Tour for their hard work, talent and commitment to the sport. Your achievements will serve as an inspiration to our younger generations and will provide us with further confi- dence to continue fostering the wealth of athletic talent we have in Kuwait.”
