Attack on a female doctor condemned

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 16: The Ministry of Health has condemned the attack on a female doctor at the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, reports Al-Qabas daily. The ministry in a statement said it deplores the attack and medical practitioners and criticized the reprehensible and unacceptable behavior. The Ministry reiterated its keenness to preserve and protect all rights of health care providers, and added the concerned officials are in touch with the doctor and follows up on the circumstances of the incident, to take the necessary legal measures regarding this unfortunate incident, in accordance with the new Profession Law No. 70 of 2020.

The Ministry expressed its sincere appreciation for the efforts of the various health, technical and administrative cadres, reiterating that it will spare no effort in providing a safe and appropriate work environment to perform their lofty mission, as required.
