Atom Sporting survive; KIB reach next round – Louis, Amouri face off

KUWAIT CITY, June 13: The first exhibition match of the ongoing Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament will be played Tuesday during which David Louis — the Brazilian defender for Paris Saint Germaine, France will come face to face with the UAE national team and Al-Ain player Omar Abdul-Rahman ‘Amouri’.

The organizing committee will allow many local skillful players to showcase their talent in the dream match, and guests of the tournament will be honored at the sidelines of the exhibition match featuring Louis and Amouri for the first time.

The dream match session is considered the highest point of the 37th edition of the tournament, considering the array of international stars it will parade. The organizers have already announced the participation of legendary AC Milan player Paolo Maldini and Real Madrid star Carvakhal.

Meanwhile, outcome of Day 7 matches indicated that Atom Sporting spanked the Ministry of Defense 6-2 and averted its early exit from the tournament, while Kuwait International Bank guaranteed its qualification to the next round of the tournament by defeating Martyr Fahad Al-Ahmad Team 6-1. Also, T-Mass claimed superiority over Wawan Protein with a 4-0 win.
