Al-Kuwait emerge winners of 54th Kuwait Volleyball Premier League

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: Al-Kuwait Volleyball Club won the 54th Kuwait Volleyball Premier League after beating their counterpart Al-Kazema by 3-2 in the last match of the 2019/2020 sports season. This is the 12th title won by the club.

Al-Kuwait managed to win the title in the fifth match, which  was described as “a difficult match”, as Al-Kazema made it difficult for them to win throughout the rounds, which ended with the scores of 20-18, 19-25, 25-22, 22-25 and 25-22.

The third place was taken by Al-Arabi Volleyball Club after defeating Al-Qadisiya which finished fourth. The match had ended with a score of 3-1, 15-6, 25-23, 20-25, 23-25 and 25-21.

Al-Qadisiya won the championship 22 times, followed by Al-Kazema 15 times, Al-Kuwait 12 times, Al-Arabi four times and Al-Jahra once
