Dr Al-Harbi added the transfer of license is allowed in case the contract between the employer and the employee is expired. He noted the afore-stated measures are intended for stabilizing private medical sector and improving its performance to the desired level expected.

Meanwhile, the assistant undersecretary for public health Dr Majida Al-Qattan announced the result of medical test a female student who was reported to have contracted tuberculosis underwent came out negative.

This means results of all other related cases are negative. He mentioned the teacher who contracted tuberculosis is on medication for three weeks, and she’s recuperating at home after receiving necessary medical care. He pointed out that “there is confusion between two cases in this regard, citing a female teacher who died of complications of Tuberculosis Meningitis in 2016 three months after the illness that affected the membranes surrounding her brain”.
