Four Season Hotel named Best Team Spirit
KUWAIT CITY, June 12: The Hotels Football Championship (HFC) concluded with Al Bastaki Hotel who have been crowned the title after a great game against Safier Fintas Hotel. The 2nd HFC tournament was held in Sahet Mishref Playgrounds.
Moustafa Sallam Founder & CEO who was the head of the organizing committee said “this is the second tournament of its kind in Kuwait”. He added that the 2nd HFC tournament succeeded due to the efforts of all volunteers, hotels’ management and the wide participation of teams representing many of the hotels operating in Kuwait.” Sallam added, the 2nd HFC tournament showcased the amazing talents of players and their drive to progress towards the title and cup.
On the other hand, there were a lot of different awards announced and presented during the coronation day such as: Best Player Trophy won by Ahmed Sami, Best Goalkeeper Trophy won by Saied Mohamed, Best Team Captain won by Hani Ali, Best Scorer Trophy won by Wessam Bin Mohsen and Best Team Spirit went to Four Season Hotel plus two other awards for Regency Hotel & Safier International.
The 2nd HFC tournament was sponsored by Public Authority for Sport presented by Hamed Alhazim from the management of All Sports Department. HFC is simply an initiative and creative idea came from a group of employees from the different participating hotels lead by Moustafa Sallam. The participating hotels included many of Kuwait’s leading hospitality heavy weights such as Four Seasons, Movenpick Albidaa, Safier Fintas, Copthorne Al Jahra, Safier International, Le Royal Hotel, Palms Hotel, Symphony Hotel, Ramada Hotel, Millennium & Copthorne, Regency Hotel, Adams Hotel, Al Bastaki Hotel and Hilton Kuwait Resort.
“Congratulations to the winning team, Al Bastaki Hotel for achieving the title of the second iteration of HFC.” said Moustafa Sallam, Founder & CEO of HFC. “We were delighted to take part in a well organized tournament of this caliber alongside many of our peers from the participating hotels.The audience enthusiastically supported their favorite teams and the teams in return were eager to please their supporters and all soccer fans. Everyone showed great spirit and determination.”
