70% Decrease in garbage during national holidays

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 26: Kuwaiti citizens and expats celebrated national holidays on Gulf Street. The municipality branches in all governorates conducted extensive cleaning campaigns in all areas. The amount of garbage collected from the streets has been decreased by 70% compared to previous years, noting that the Gulf Street was cleaned from Third Ring Road up-to Messila Bride. Parking lots, lawns, streets and celebration venues overlooking the sea were cleaned.
600 bags of waste was collected although 2,000 garbage bags were provided along with cleaning vehicles such as manual sweepers, forklifts, trailers etc, reports Al Rai. Additional 700 bags filled with garbage waste were collected from interiors, farms, 900 bags from spring camp sites.
