KUWAIT CITY, June 25: In its ongoing efforts to combat the widespread use and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances, the Ministry of the Interior has achieved a significant breakthrough. The Criminal Security Sector, specifically the General Department for Narcotics Control, successfully apprehended five suspects who were found in possession of approximately half a kilogram of crystal meth, along with various chemical substances. Additionally, they seized 70 pills of psychotropic substances from the suspects.

Upon thorough interrogation, the defendants confessed that the confiscated items were intended for distribution and personal abuse. Consequently, both the suspects and the seized substances were handed over to the appropriate authorities to initiate the necessary legal actions against them.
