KUWAIT CITY, Aug 18: Acting on information that some 300 workers at the Abdali farms had gathered to protest the non-payment of their salaries, personnel from the Ministry of Interior rushed to the spot to prevent any violent incidents, reports Al-Anba daily. After listening to the complaints of the workers who said they were not paid their salaries and that they were living in inhuman conditions, company officials who were present promised to pay their salaries and promised to improve their living conditions following which the workers dispersed peacefully.
