23 Expats Arrested for Running Illegal Gambling House in Mahboula

KUWAIT CITY, March 17: Through rigorous security follow-up and intensive campaigns in the Mahboula region, the Department of Combating Counterfeiting and Forgery Crimes under the criminal security sector has successfully apprehended 23 individuals involved in running an illicit gambling house.

Upon search, the suspects were found in possession of playing cards, varying amounts of cash, registration papers, two liquor bottles suspected to be home-made, and narcotics. The arrested individuals and seized items have been handed over to the appropriate authorities for further investigation and necessary action.
