KUWAIT CITY, Jun 18: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation stated that domestic workers returning to Kuwait are subjected to health requirements and Kuwait International Airport implements the decision of the Council of Ministers and the DGCA has no rights to grant or prevent any passengers entering Kuwait.

Returning non vaccinated domestic workers who are allowed to enter the country will be subjected to institutional quarantine for a period of 14 days, in addition PCR test proving negative is needed which should  not be more than 72 hours on arrival, reports Al Rai. Swab test will be taken at the airport on arrival, institutional quarantine in a pre-booked hotel by the sponsor is required. The sources stated that it is not true what is being circulated on social media about exempting hotel quarantine for a period of 14 days for non-vaccinated domestic workers.
