KUWAIT CITY, April 5: The Criminal Security Sector of the Ministry of Interior has arrested 12 tweeters over the past few days, a vast majority of whom are Kuwaitis, and were tweeting strange names, against the background of publishing false news and offending public figures, pointing out that some of these tweeters had arrest warrants issued against them, reports Al-Anba daily.
However, the daily said some of these tweeters have been released after interrogating them while some are still in police custody. The source stated they were picked up from different areas, including Raqqa, Fintas, Sabah Al-Salem, Salmiya and Mubarak Al-Kabeer
