KUWAIT CITY, Dec 4: The Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmad Al-Awadhi, said skin diseases receive great attention, as the Ministry is keen to keep abreast of the latest developments in treatment and medical laser uses, increase the number of specialized clinics for skin diseases, pay attention to the human element, develop medical and technical cadres and the nursing staff, as well as support the programs of foreign missions and encourage post graduate studies of Kuwaiti doctors in the specialty of dermatology, reports Al- Qabas daily.

DrAl-Awadhi was speaking, on the sidelines of the opening of the Kuwait Conference on Dermatology, Laser and Cosmetic Medicine’. He added, “The dermatology departments receive about 500,000 patients annually sent by medical institutions affiliated with the Ministry of Health. This is in addition to advanced services in the field of diagnosis with the latest technologies and treatment services, whether by providing the latest world approved medicines and authorized treatment, or treatment with modern devices such as laser and light therapy, which have attracted more than 10,000 references in the last year in the Asa’ad Al-Hamad Center alone
