KUWAIT CITY, July 5: Head of the Labor Union of Kuwait Municipality Eng. Mohammad Al-Mutairi said the board of the union has been carefully following up the disbursement of excellent performance bonuses for some employees while it has been postponed for many others and the rest have been denied the bonus completely, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

Al-Mutairi revealed that many employees have been enquiring about the reasons why the issue is being handled in such a manner, affirming that all employees of Kuwait Municipality deserve excellent performance bonuses as they work in sensitive positions that necessitate dedicated and accurate performance.

He indicated that the unfair disbursement of the bonuses has psychologically affected the employees, which will in turn have an impact on the quality of their performance especially since their expenditures are generally high during Eid Al-Fitr. Al-Mutairi urged the senior officials of Kuwait Municipality to expedite reforming the allowance plan so that it ensures justice for all employees.
