'Warba' organized a blood donation campaign for its employees

KUWAIT, October 2024: Warba Bank organized a blood donation campaign for its employees, to highlight its permanent commitment to serving the community. The campaign received great interaction from the Bank’s employees, who flocked to donate and expressed their commitment and humanitarian duty towards all patients and those in need of blood.

Ayman Salem Al-Mutairi, Director Marketing and Corporate Communications, explained that this campaign is not the first one organized by Warba Bank to support the Blood Bank. Warba Bank has been organizing continuous campaigns on an annual basis, expressing the spirit of social participation and believing in its effective role in serving the community. It will continue to organize similar campaigns, expressing the spirit of social participation and community responsibility.

Al-Mutairi added that Warba Bank is constantly striving to provide various means of support to institutions providing healthcare services in Kuwait, in addition to its continuous organization of multi-purpose awareness activities and campaigns aimed at enhancing health awareness and encouraging healthy behaviors and habits among members of society.

Al-Mutairi stated that Warba Bank is keen to spread the concept of voluntary social work among its employees by inviting them to participate in many humanitarian and charitable events, including blood donation campaigns, as the Marketing and Corporate Communications Sector sent messages to employees to participate in this campaign. These messages contributed significantly to enhancing employees' awareness about the culture of blood donation and consolidating the principle of community partnership for the Bank and its cooperation with national institutions, including the Kuwait Central Blood Bank and its efforts to maintain the provision of blood units to be ready for those who deserve them from needy patients.

Al-Mutairi concluded his statement by thanking the officials of the Kuwait Central Blood Bank who took the initiative to send nursing and medical teams that showed high cooperation and professionalism in examining those wishing to donate blood, extending his thanks to the Bank's employees who did not hesitate to respond to the invitation and flocked to donate, which undoubtedly contributed to the success of this campaign and translated the noble humanitarian and social motives of Warba Bank's staff.

The Blood Bank team praised this kind and pioneering initiative, mentioning the activities carried out by Warba Bank that serve the charitable and humanitarian fields in Kuwait, based on the Bank's clear direction aimed at serving the Kuwaiti society.
