UAE records 2 new coronavirus cases, total reaches 7

ABU DHABI, Feb 7 (KUNA) — The United Arab Emirates discovered a further two confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus on Friday, bringing the total number of cases in the country to seven.

The infected individuals are a Chinese and a Filipino national, the Ministry of Health told the state news agency, WAM.


The announcement comes after they underwent “continuous periodic examinations in line with World Health Organization standards.”
Both are currently under observation and are receiving necessary medical care in accordance with the highest health standards, the ministry added.
