Two Syrians held for forging Bulgarian passports

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 28: Two Syrians were arrested for forging Bulgarian passports for which they charged KD 1200 each, reports Al-Shahed daily.
The Syrians were arrested from an apartment in Hawally area in possession of a number of forged passports.
Meanwhile, a Bahraini national was arrested at Nuwaiseeb border checkpoint for attempting to enter the country with witchcraft and sorcery tools, reports Al-Shahed daily.
When the customs officers at the border checkpoint questioned the suspect, he admitted to bringing some magic charms for treating one of his friends in Kuwait.
Tools were confiscated and the suspect signed a pledge of not repeating the act.

Disaster averted: A disaster was prevented in Sabah Al-Ahmad School in Ahmadi area due to the timely intervention by some residents of the area and the arrival of firefighters, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to an informed source, one of the trees outside the school walls caught fire but no one realized it until thick black smoke spread throughout the area.
Citizens living in the vicinity of the school helped in preventing the fire from spreading to the school by using fire extinguishers in their vehicles and homes to fight the fire until firefighters arrived and extinguished the fire.
No casualties or injuries were reported.
