Two-man gang of thieves nabbed

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 22: A two-man gang (a Kuwaiti and an Arab national) specialized in stealing vehicles was apprehended by security operatives in an encounter that left one officer injured after the suspects resisted arrest and threatened the officers with sharp objects.

The two suspects are believed to have perpetrated 51 thefts and vandalized 34 vehicles and broken into 19 homes to steal. Several stolen items were recovered from their possession after leading security operatives to the places where they hid the stolen vehicles. They have since been referred to concerned authorities.
