Those violating home quarantine to be penalized

KUWAIT, March 18 (KUNA) — Kuwait Minister of Social Affairs Maryam Al-Aqeel said Wednesday it formed teams that would check on people who were violating home quarantine to take necessary legal action against them.
The formation of the teams is part of the government’s decisions to fight spread of coronavirus, Al-Aqeel, also Minister of State for Economic Affairs, said in a press statement.
People instructed to stay in home quarantine but went to their working places in violation of instructions, she said, which trigger closure of these places and penalizing those persons.
