Suspected woman in Kuwait tested negative for coronavirus

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 6: A woman, who was suspected of being infected with the novel coronavirus, has tested negative, reports GDNonline.com. The passenger, who was returning from a trip abroad, was detected with fever by thermal scanners at Kuwait International Airport.
Health authorities transferred her to a hospital to be quarantined as per the standard protocols for dealing with such cases. Lab tests later showed that the woman was not infected with the novel coronavirus, Jarida reported.
The ministry later issued a statement confirming that Kuwait is free of coronavirus. It urged the public to follow its official accounts to be updated about the latest developments of the virus.
