KUWAIT CITY, Nov 9: Deputy Director General for Fire Prevention Sector at Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD) Major General Khalid Rakan Al- Mekrad urged fire inspectors against laxity in implementing the law on all violators during their inspection campaign in Dajeej area on Monday.

According to a press statement issued by KFSD, Major General Al-Mekrad made this statement at the start of the largest campaign organized by KFSD, covering all six governorates.

The campaign was aimed to arrest violators of fire preventive measures. Declaring that human lives are not cheap and cannot be compensated with money, he said KFSD is ready to record all violations by taking necessary legal procedures against violators.

Al-Mekrad affirmed that KFSD will not hesitate to refer violators to judiciary for prosecution, adding that the danger of the violations is like a time bomb that could explode any moment, endangering the lives of people who work or visit the shopping malls.
