Pledge to provide isolated homes for cleaners

KUWAIT CITY, March 15: The cleaning companies, during a recent meeting with the State Minister for Municipal Affairs Waleed Al-Jassem, Director General of Kuwait Municipality Engr Ahmad Al-Manfouhi, and senior officials of the Services Sector, pledged to provide isolated accommodation for their workers.

Garbage containers and other things, including trees are being sprayed upon with disinfectants

Al-Jassem explained that intensive efforts were being made as a part of the precautionary measures to ensure sanitization and high-level hygiene.

During the meeting, they discussed all necessary precautionary measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus by implementing the contingency plans. Commenting on the meeting,

Al-Manfouhi indicated the readiness of Kuwait Municipality’s crews to conduct necessary field monitoring for ascertaining the execution of decisions and instructions from official channels concerning the contingency plan at various levels.

He said the crews included teams that are inspecting hygiene measures, and public gathering, as well as closure of cafés, health clubs, shopping malls, barber salons for men, and hair salons for women
