KUWAIT CITY, Aug 27: Upon directives of the Minister of Commerce and Industry Omar Al-Omar, Shamlan Al-Jahidli, Acting Director General of the Public Authority for Industry, has signed a contract with the Contractor General Trading and Contracting Company.
The contract, signed at the Authority’s main headquarters, involves the construction, completion, operation, and maintenance of infrastructure for a portion of Plot 4 in the Sabhan Industrial Zone. Al-Jahidli noted that the project spans 235,253 square meters and will provide 69 industrial plots dedicated to food industries, aiming to bolster food security. This initiative is a key component of the government’s development program.
