Nepali held in Ahmadi with liquor

KUWAIT CITY, May 4: A Nepali expatriate was arrested in Ahmadi area in possession of 48 bottles of locally manufactured liquor. According to security sources, securitymen started monitoring his movements after receiving a tip-off about his activities.

They eventually confirmed the information and arrested him in possession of the liquor bottles. He was arrested and referred with the liquor bottles to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.

Meanwhile, Ahmadi securitymen arrested a total of 16 Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates who are involved in civil cases amounting to KD 15,000. They were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary action.
