KUWAIT CITY, Nov. 2: Kuwait’s Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) has referred supervisors in government agencies to the Public Prosecution for allegedly submitting false financial disclosure statements, the authority announced Sunday.
The supervisors, who are subject to financial disclosure regulations, are accused of violating legal requirements by submitting incorrect statements, Nazaha said in a press release.
Nazaha urged all officials subject to financial disclosure rules to complete and submit their statements accurately and on time, stressing that compliance is both a legal and ethical obligation. The authority highlighted that proper disclosure helps protect public funds, uphold integrity, and strengthen public trust in state institutions.
