MoH to review degrees of doctors, nurses, pharmacists & technicians

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 8: Health sources confirmed the validity of certificates after they were put under the microscope of the committee set up by the Minister of Health Dr Bassel Al-Sabah which is chaired by the Undersecretary of the ministry.

The daily added, the certificates of the ministry staff including nurses, doctors, pharmacists, technicians and administrators will be thoroughly reviewed.

The sources pointed out the ministry has addressed the Ministry of Higher Education on some suspicious certificates of a number of officials.

Meanwhile, the Al-Qabas daily said, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education, Dr Hamed Al-Azmi announced he has referred a new batch of fake certificates to the Attorney-General and stressed that the process of audit and review of certificates continue. In case of any suspicion of fraud the issue is referred to the Prosecution immediately.
