MOCI continues to monitor coops, supermarkets, shops for prices and smooth flow of food supply

KUWAIT, May 30 : The Kuwait Commerce of Trade and Industry stated that 62 coops, supermarkets, shops and pharmacies and 80 food catering branches were monitored to ensure the smooth flow of sales and delivery of foodstuffs to their beneficiaries, and to determine the extent of their commitment and to maintain the stability of product prices. .

The ministry said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) today, Saturday, that its inspection teams’ are continuing their work, in light of the decisions in place regarding the relevant procedures to face the repercussions of the spread of Corona Virus (SARS Cove-2) infection that causes the disease (Covid 19).

Emergency center had received 174 complaints via the hotline (135), in addition to violations of violating commercial stores, stressing the need to adhere to the law because of the exceptional circumstance that the country is going through, and that it will be its lookout teams for anyone who misuses himself to exploit the current circumstance(KUNA)
