KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: Minister of Public Works Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan on Tuesday affirmed the continued field monitoring of major road maintenance works across the country, stressing efforts to accelerate completion and ensure full compliance with the highest approved technical standards under new contracts.

In a press statement, Al-Mashaan said ministry teams were present at the work site in Al-Ardiya, Block 2, to review the latest progress in ongoing maintenance activities, noting that current works include laying the surface layer.

She added that maintenance has been completed in Plots 1, 4, and 5 of the same area, as well as Barak Al-Haifi Street, all within the same maintenance contract. She noted that technical reports submitted by the project supervisor, Engineer Abdullah Al-Mutairi, confirm the field teams’ adherence to the approved plans.

Al-Mashaan emphasized that this direct supervision reflects the ministry’s commitment to improving the efficiency of the road network and enhancing infrastructure quality in residential areas.
