Medical staff from isolated areas to be allowed to enter and exit

KUWAIT CITY, May 30: Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Civil Services Affairs Dr. Fatima Al-Najjar revealed that coordination between the Ministry of Interior is under way to allow civil medical sector employees staying in the isolated areas with work identities to exit and enter.

Al-Najjar stated that civil sector employees working in centers, dispensaries, clinics and medical laboratories will be allowed to go out and enter the restricted areas with work IDs that carry the name of the institution till the end of partial ban time of 6 pm.

Al-Najjar reported that the curfew permits of hospital personnel extend beyond the hours of the partial ban, in line with the system in which they worked, valuing the aspects of coordination that took place with the Ministry of Interior in this regard.

Al-Najjar stressed that the Ministry is keen to work to provide all facilities for medical personnel to enable it to fulfill its noble mission in a way that serves the health and safety of all and provide the best medical care for them.
