KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The Ministry of Health has issued a directive mandating that all medical assistants in health facilities use the flexible “fingerprint” system to record their presence during official working hours.
Medical assistants must prove their attendance after completing their tasks at any time, provided that this occurs at least two hours after the start of the official working hours and before the end.
Additionally, they must record their departure time using the fingerprint system. The Ministry has notified all health regions, hospitals, and specialized centers to enforce this new requirement.
