KUWAIT CITY, Oct 11: The Ministry of Interior was forced to lift the security reinforcement around the UN building against the backdrop of a threat adopted by the Syrian family on the media. The threat includes the family’s intention to commit suicide in the UN building against the background of their living conditions.

Immediately after the threat, the Department of Embassies Protection sent 10 officers and 20 armed non-commissioned officers along with 10 patrols to the UN building, a security source said.

The source added that the security men until yesterday afternoon did not detect any strange movement in the vicinity of the United Nations building.

The source confirmed that the officers of the MOI Cyber security Investigation began to find the source of the threat, which was published on the social media sites to identify the owner and prosecute him on issues related to the publication of fake news.
