Kuwaiti students issues tackled – Send complaints via e-mail

KUWAIT CITY, April 24: Kuwait Culture Office (KCO) in Cairo has called on Kuwaiti students studying in Egyptian universities to send their complaints concerning education in the Egyptian universities via email to the Advisor of Kuwait Culture Office in Cairo Dr Ahmad Al-Mutairi, reports Al-Rai daily quoting informed sources affiliated to the office They said Dr Al-Mutairi has been following up the situation of Kuwaiti students in various universities in Egypt and contacting them via email.

Meanwhile, the sources revealed that the Kuwait Culture Office is waiting for the decision of Kuwait’s Ministry of Higher Education to schedule the appointment of graduation of Kuwaiti students of Egyptian universities. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Education has asked the Ahmadi Educational Zone to determine the number of teachers and administrators working in remote areas, as was determined by the decision of the Civil Service Commission which was issued on Dec 5, 2018, reports Al-Qabas daily.

According to informed sources the ministry is currently working on of lists of eligible workers in schools in these areas who range between 2,000 and 2,500 teachers and administrators at all stages of education. The sources expected that the educational zone to hand over the reports to the administrative sector in the ministry within two weeks for review, to be disbursed within a month or more, noting that the incentives for workers in remote areas range between KD 75 and 90
