Kuwaiti put behind bars for harassing ex-girlfriend

KUWAIT CITY, April 25: Police have arrested an unidentified Kuwaiti and put him behind bars after he allegedly went to the apartment of his former girlfriend and attempted to force his way inside by breaking the door, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to security sources the ex-girlfriend called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior and police rushed to the spot and arrested the man, who was allegedly under the influence of drugs.

This happened because the girl broke of the friendship with the man because of his abusive behavior and the latter pleaded with her to return back so that they could live a normal life.

The victim turned down his requests, and the man reportedly got angry and attempted to break the door at dawn. The damage of the door was clearly visible, say police source
