KUWAIT CITY, Feb 27: Police have arrested a Kuwaiti psychopath after he allegedly stole the taxi from an Egyptian and ended up colliding with three vehicles in Farwaniya belonging to three Kuwaitis, reports Al-Anba daily. After the Kuwaitis called the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior police began looking for the suspect but could not be found.

Taxi damaged

A little while later an unidentified woman complained that an unidentified taxi driver had deliberately collided with her vehicle in downtown Kuwait City and escaped; and yet another person informed the security authorities that an unidentified taxi driver attempted to run over him but he escaped unhurt.

In the meantime the taxi driver had filed a complaint with the Farwaniya Police Station saying an unidentified person had escaped in his taxi and that there was 200 dinars in the taxi compartment.

Police received another complaint from a passerby saying a taxi driver had stolen his wallet which was later found by an unidentified person by the road side and handed over to police.

The suspect was finally arrested in a suburb of Jahra and police records show he is a former inmate of the Central Prison and had escaped from Psychiatric Hospital where he was receiving treatment. He has been referred for interrogation.
