KUWAIT CITY, Sep 11: The Criminal Investigation Department specifically the Taima Investigations Department in Jahra Governorate, successfully resolved 10 cases, including 7 felonies and 3 misdemeanors, by apprehending a citizen with a criminal record. The accused had been involved in a series of robberies targeting expatriates, primarily delivery workers, over the past two months. Authorities seized the weapon used in these crimes, which had been reported by Arab Times newspaper on several occasions.
A security source explained that the increasing number of armed robberies led to the formation of a dedicated task force. Following extensive investigations, the suspect was arrested after resisting police while leaving his residence. Upon interrogation and being presented with evidence, the accused confessed to the crimes and identified the weapon used.
