Kuwait SC beat Bahrain’s Al-Najma in AFC Cup qualifiers

KUWAIT CITY, April 16, (KUNA): Kuwait SC beat Bahrain’s Al-Najma 2-1 in Group B qualifications of the Asian Football Confederation’s (AFC) Cup on Monday.
Kuwait’s Yaqoub Al-Tararwa opened the score in the 46th minute of the first half.
Jumaa Saeed added the second in the 61st minute while Bahrain’s sole goal was scored by Mouhamadou Drame in the 66th minute.
Kuwait has seven points and is second in Group B, trailing Al-Jazeera of Jordan which has 10 points.
