Kuwait oil price up to USD 27.97 pb

KUWAIT, March 25 (KUNA) — Price of Kuwaiti crude oil gained USD 1.86, settling at USD 27.97 pb on Tuesday against USD 26.11 pb the day before, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said Wednesday.
In global markets, prices slightly went up amidst ongoing fears of COVID-19’s heavy impacts on demand and in anticipation of the USD-two-trillion package by the United States.
Brent crude future contracts was up 12 cents settling at USD 27.15 pb, while the West Texas Intermediate gained 65 cents to land at USD 24.01 pb.
