KGL sponsor BIKE Club’s activities

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport Company (KGL) will be sponsoring Bikers in Kuwait Encounter’s (BIKE) activities for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

The contestants kicked off the new cycling season sporting their KGL custom-made attire, which had been presented to the President of the club Ritchel G.Cadavos and all club members.

More than 100 members were present at KGL’s headquarters in Shuwaikh at 4:30 am that Friday morning and everyone pedaled their way to Doha and back to their starting point at KGL.

On the note of this occasion Ali Al-Dawoud, Deputy CEO of KGL Holding said, “KGL’s sponsorship of the activities of the BIKE Club members aligns with the company’s ambitious social responsibility program, which includes being involved in sports, health, educational and environmental activities. Getting involved in such sponsorships conveys the message of the importance of physical activity which alternatively leads to overall good health along with proper nutrition. We have also participated in the 2017 Spark Marathon and encourage our employees to lead an active lifestyle by organizing sports activities such as volleyball, basketball and football not forgetting to mention that KGL has its own cricket team that competes in tournaments.”

In return Cadavos said, “We are very excited for this upcoming season and are grateful for KGL’s sponsorship to our club’s activities and I hope everyone participating enjoys this season’s tournaments.”
