‘Illegal’ Asian dentist arrested

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 29: Personnel from the Criminal Investigations have arrested a Asian dentist for practicing the trade illegally, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added the suspect born in 1957 and identified only as (W.G.) was caught in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh acting on a tip-off from an unidentified person.

Citizen in cash fraud: Acting Director-General of the Criminal Investigations Department Brigadier Mohammad Al-Sharhan has referred a citizen working for the General Traffic Department to the Public Prosecution for forging official documents taking advantage of his position and reportedly causing the State Treasury losses worth approximately KD 1,000,000 through manipulation by registering citations against people who have been deported from the country and the deceased, reports Al-Anba daily. According to security sources, as soon as the concerned department received information about the suspicious activities of the employee, a directive was issued to follow-up the issue and put the suspect under surveillance. Initial investigations proved the suspect was using the password of some his ex-colleagues and transfer the citation in the name of the dead person or persons who have been deported from the country.
