Damage caused by the fire
KUWAIT CITY, July 12: Fire broke out in the basement of a five-storied building in Abu Halifa. No casualties but huge material losses were incurred. According to a press statement issued by Kuwait Fire Service Directorate (KFSD), when the Operations Room of KFSD received information about the fire, firefighters were dispatched to the location with securitymen and paramedics. After evacuating all the tenants from the building, firefighters extinguished the fire and then launched investigations to determine the cause of the fire.
