KUWAIT CITY, June 9: The Gulf Cables team are being considered as a team to beat in the ongoing Late Abdullah Meshari Al-Roudhan Ramadan Indoor Football Tournament after they defeated the Ministry of Electricity team by three goals to none during the third day of the tournament.

According to a press release, the McDonalds team also defeated High Sky by 1-0 and the late Ahmad Al-Roumi team defeated Sparks team by 1-0.

In the matches scheduled for Friday, the 5th day of Ramadan, the Immigration team will face the late Sa’ad Al-Mailam Team and the Parliamentarians Union Scout will slug it out with the Blues while the third game will be held between Journalists and Al-Midhmar teams.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Al-Shahri, who is the Chief Coach of Saudi league champions Al-Etifaq and is serving as the coach for one of the teams in this tournament High Sky, affirmed that his team boast of youthful players combined with experienced players.

He declared that some of his players play their games in Al-Etifaq, Al-Nasr, Al-Qadsiya and Al-Nahda in Saudi Arabia league, stressing that the tournament is essential to his players, because it will prepare them for the Saudi indoor football league.

In the youth category of the tournament, spectators witnessed harvest of goals during the games of the day.

The Kazma team defeated Al-Fahaheel team by 3-0, while the Super Hat-trick wrecked havoc on Atom Sporting by 10-0 and late Samir Saeed team carried the day against Saud Jumah Mahboub by 2-1 in a match that was decided by penalty shootouts after the full time ended in a goalless draw.

On of the 5th day of Ramadan, the late Ahmad Hussein Al-Roumi team will face the Mohammad Falah Al-Ajmi Team. Al-Kuwait Team will slug it out against the Green Fortress in the second match while Al-Mulla team will play against Al-Yahya team in the third game.
