‘Ganja’ in town – 2 Bangladeshis refuse to tell

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 9: Kuwait has become a source for experiment in the world of drug addiction, with the introduction of a new drug called ‘ganja’ which is described by personnel from the Criminal Investigations Department as very effective and ‘silent killer drug’, reports Al-Anba daily.

Two Bangladeshis who are in police custody have until now maintained silence and refuse to talk or divulge any details about the drug, such as its origin or how it is manufactured.

CID men are said to have confiscated 295 grams of this dangerous drug and KD 100 in marked police currency and a quantity of shabu from the two suspects. This is in addition to four red color pills believed to be a kind of drug.

According to a security source, the CID officers following a tip-off set a trap for the men and caught them redhanded in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh while selling drugs to a police informant
