Fire Department closes 24 facilities

KUWAIT CITY, July 17: The inspection teams from the Directorate- General of Fire Department upon instructions from the head of the DGFD, Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Makrad, and under the supervision of the Vice President for the Prevention Sector, Major- General Khaled Al-Abdullah, closed 24 facilities that posed a threat to community security, as they did not conform to the preventive requirements, reports Al- Seyassah daily. Major-General Al-Abdullah has called on citizens and residents to abide by the safety and fire prevention conditions, and to inform the firefighting force in the event of any violations related to the protection of buildings and facilities that threaten the safety of lives and property.
