Egyptians jailed for forging COVID-19 vaccination certificate

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 15: The Court of Appeals has scheduled the session of March 10 to look into the conviction of two expatriates who are accused of violating the infectious diseases control law and forging a certificate of COVID- 10 vaccination issued by the Ministry of Health. Earlier, the Court of First Instance had sentenced an Egyptian expatriate to eight-year imprisonment, imposed a fine of KD 800, and ordered his deportation upon completion of the prison sentence. It sentenced an Egyptian nurse to four-year imprisonment with hard labor, dismissal from work, and deportation upon completion of the prison sentence.
